THE BILATERAL CHARGING TECHNOLOGY IN IPHONES

Most of the people know that much before the fantastic iPhone 11 came into existence and use, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Max came into existence. There were also rumors that these sets and designs may have a bilateral charging technology within it. There were also some leaks, which had pointed upon the little shifting of the logo downwards only in the new models, only to indicate the point that the users might have to place their Qi-enabled devices, to charge them wirelessly. Unfortunately, it was all a rumor, and the tech never came into real existence to new iPhones. There were no official mention on the stage, dedicated iPhone pages or specification sheets, indicating the features might arrive in the 2020 iPhones. The new iPhones are now said to have the reverse wireless charging feature in them, but it’s not activated yet.

The new iPhones, namely the iPhone 11  and the iPhone 11 Pro already has the hardware to support the high technology that will be required for bilateral charging, as mentioned by a tipster named as Sony Dickson, on Twitter. But the feature is considered to be disabled for now. The tipster even tells that a software update is required by Apple, in order to activate the feature. He says, “Reliable sources are saying, iPhone 11 and 11 Pro do include the hardware for bilateral charging, but that is software disabled. Uncertain whether this was removed prior to final production run”.

Reliable resources all around the world reported that the hardware iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro comprises the potential of bilateral charging, but whatever may be the case, it would be soon found out, once the iPhone goes on sale and the websites like iFixit or JerryRigEverything do a teardown upon the devices.

We have already noted and seen clearly the qualities of bilateral charging in the flagship smartphones that come from Samsung and Huawei, where the latter became the first in the world to bring over the facility of “Reverse” wireless charging in the smartphones. We deeply believe that Apple might have a deep focus upon the 2020 iPhones, and might possibly be reserving these high tech facilities for their upcoming phones to arrive. The upcoming iPhones are also believed to support a 5G network and USB type – C charging port.
