PM Narendra Modi is expected to be present at the Dussehra celebrations on Tuesday at Dwarka area in Delhi. Dwarka Sri Ram Leela Society has been organizing the event DDA Ground in Sector 10 Dwarka.

New Delhi: “Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami,” shared on the Twitter account by PM of India Narendra Modi on Tuesday. He is greetings to the nation on the event of Dussehra. A written message along with a video message has been shared on the festival. He makes an appeal to the country to take encouragement from Lord Ram and get ready to fight the evil force not that is located outside but within as well.

PM Narendra Modi is expected to be present at the Dussehra celebrations on Tuesday at Dwarka area in Delhi. Dwarka Sri Ram Leela Society has been organizing the event DDA Ground in Sector 10 Dwarka. During his first stint in the year 2016, the prime minister had taken part in the function of Dussehra in Lucknow. 

According to Rajesh Gehlot, society’s chairman and ex MLA, the PM is expected to reach the place at 5.30 pm. However, there was no official authorization from the office of prime minister’s. Normally, high dignitaries take part in the Dussehra festivities at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.

On the same event, President Ram Nath Kovind also wished the country on the festival saying, “The festival is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. It inspires us to live by honesty and truthfulness. May the day bring joy and prosperity to the people of the country.”

Venkaiah Naidu, Vice-President also greet the people on the eve of Dussehra, a festival of rejoice that be a sign of the victory of good over evil. In his account, he wrote that “I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra,”. He further added that “Dussehra is a festival of the moral and principled path represented in the life as well as deeds of Lord Rama. The festival also reminds us that we require continually quelling the demonic forces and fostering decency and harmony,”

On the tenth day of the Navratri festival, Dussehra or Vijayadashami is marks the end of Navratri or Durga Puja. It is even considered as triumph of good over evil. The whole nation celebrates the day in different ways all through the nation.
