ICC Test Rankings: Virat Kohli skip from no1 position


In the latest ICC test rankings of the batsmen, Virat Kohli skips from the number one position.  Whereas Steve smith ruled over the number one in this ranking. Kohli made 76 runs in the first innings in the second test against the West Indies. In continues test this year, he yet to complete his 25 test hundred.

Meanwhile, the India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahana has come with the position of 7th number. He comes up in the ranking after his half-century and hundred in Antigua.

Hanuma Vihari, collecting 289 runs against the West Indies in two-match series. Steve Smith, who missed the third test in ashes series, got a chance to lead in the fourth Test, which is starting at this Wednesday at old Trafford in Manchester.  Smith was on the top of the list since 2015 December but in august 2018 he comes in limelight for Newlands ball-tampering scandal where Virat Kohli took his position of number one after winning series against England.

But after this smith is eventually back with twin centuries in the first test against England and 92 runs in the second. So again Kohli can be on number one but after the result of the home test series against South Africa on October 2 in Vishakhapatnam.
